Before becoming one of the most famous faces of contemporary art, Andy Warhol worked for over a decade as a commercial illustrator in New York. His mass-producing silkscreen technique and talent for transforming the ordinary into something extraordinary brought him his breakthrough. The collaboration between The Skateroom, Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts and Artestar draws on iconic works by the late artist to create unique art objects in the form of skateboard decks. With wall mounts and instructions included, these can be used as decorative wall objects at home.
