In which contemporary art meets fashion as it should.

A week in Paris would not be one at all without a double dose of fashion, history and art. Somehow, I managed to avoid all three in my first three days in town, so was glad for NET-A-PORTER to come along with its first collection of bespoke pieces in collaboration with the contemporary art industry’s most respected talents, in what I saw as bridging the gap between two very separate, but fundamental symbiotic industries. Wednesday was the first time these pieces were unveiled to buyers and press at Palais du Tokyo, but the NAP team mentioned that once these one-offs had been sold, artists would be open to working with clients individually on potential customisation of pieces. Vik Muniz and Terence Koh’s pieces (above) were certainly my personal favourites, and in my mind, the most wearable art – imagine those pearls with absolutely shredded boyfriend jeans!

Thanks for having me, ladies, and congratulations to Stacy Engman on the compelling curation.

And now, back to being in love with Paris.
