九寨沟 (Jiǔ Zhài Gōu)

May 6, 2013 0

I never thought I’d be hopelessly jealous of my Dad’s travels… but this incredible place in South-Western China is now at the top of my Asian travel priorities.

How could I have let this image slide without a new lease of life on another corner of the Interwebs? My Dad texted it to me from a fairly precarious vantage point in a few days ago, and Instagram land wigged out – myself included. At the time, I was trudging through a three thousand word essay and it was raining outside. Enough said.

Apparently the water is this startlingly blue because of the insanely high concentration of calcium carbonate, and the water turbidity if virtually zero, so you can see everything flawlessly clearly.

VOGUE China what are you doing!? Get on location now.

Or I will.
