As most of you would have gathered from Instagram, I have spent the last couple of weeks working¬† Kerastase’s Cristalliste collection launch, which finally came to fruition over lunch yesterday at Matt Moran and Peter Sullivan’s Chiswick haven of culinary insanity. Certainly, the world of beauty is quite fresh to me (needless to say, surprisingly different to fashion), and while I have done a little interior design de temps en temps, I have no reservations in saying that this was my first time working with a brand on styling the decor of an event – given my forecast of work this year, I’m excited that it’s not my last.

The new Cristalliste collection is formulated for a younger luxury consumer, with exceptional locks like special guest Isabelle Cornish’s, and a penchant for pink. So, then, the table settings began with pink cone candles and frosted iitalla . As to the floral situation, Sean Cook is probably one of the most talented florists and artists I have ever come across, and I would 100% recommend his work to any of your bloom needs.

A week before launch, I asked awesome glass artist David Dawes if he would make some custom glass for the table – we decided on sweet transparent pink dishes for guests to take home, as well as for Ryan Storer‘s perfect jewellery display at the event. How freaking cute are they! Different, perhaps, to David’s usual, bold work, but definitely something unique to the launch and a testament to his range in commissions. Have some sneaky snaps from his Sydney studio:

Seeing the finished product was a bit of a happy pink and white floral dream. Thank you, Kerastase, for having me on board and to all of the sweet media who Instagram-ed the hell out of the tables!

P.S. Meanwhile, I just got home from setting up the sample sale that I’m hosting with my Bespoke babes, Michael Lo Sordo, KAHLO and other cool labels. So, if you have a bit of time tomorrow or on Friday between 10am and 8pm, pop by and say hello! I’m selling my entire wardrobe from the last three years. Yes I am. I’m looking forward to meeting you all!
