Surf’s Up

So here’s a little project I worked on over the weekend with Gorman and Jason, styled and goofballed by yours truly.

So here’s a little project I worked on over the weekend with Gorman and Jason, styled and goofballed by yours truly – because really, who can resist the offer of customised printed surfboards? Gorman is giving away six of them from their collaboration with Chilli on their Facebook page right now, plus some stunning pieces from their swim collection – which I’m exceptionally impressed with! The crossover between apparel and swimwear is always something that labels battle with – should it be a reflection of the collection, or should it be strong enough to take on the world on its own? In this case, Gorman has struck that balance perfectly (and so well-priced too!). You all have to check out their high-waisted bottoms! Personally, the multi print is my favourite.

And here are some styling references for you (all pieces are Gorman, so click on the links to see product shots!):

  1. Bikini Top, Ashley Spot Trousers, Cherokee Board
  2. Bikini Top, Denim Button Skirt, Fruit Salad Board
  3. Sunny Vest, Milly Sunglasses, Fruit Salad Board
  4. Carlo Backpack, Bikini Top, Denim Button Skirt

And here’s me hiding from the wind behind the fruit salad board (obsessed):

The boards will be gone in about a week, so get entering! I’m jealous of whoever wins! Especially the fruit salad print. I’m all for a good fruit salad. In the mean time, I’ll make do with the skirt, top and socks version instead.

Let me know what you think!
