So I'm currently roaming New York with some pretty serious jet-lag. Yesterday saw me wide awake at 3am, lying awake till 6, then giving up on any such lucky prospect of sleep and surrendering to my poor overflowing inbox that had fallen from grace during my air-travels. As a result, I've been living in the most comfortable tee I packed, accented by a variety of bright bottom-halves to beat New Yorker blacks and slightly gloomy skies. I picked up this crazy piece of a ZARA beauty for $20 yesterday, and couldn't be happier with the pseudo-Hawaiian getaway happening as I run about Soho on the hunt for food, film, and sensible shoes for my ridiculous amount of backstage gallivanting to happen this week. When a skirt can make you daydream about a holiday even when you're in New York City, you know it's a keeper. Sorry, Shop By Three.
Sara and I had a gorgeous dinner with Lucy last night at Jack's Wife Freda, and she suggested I try Melatonin to get my body some rest before NYFW hits in a big way. I think a Duane Reade shop needs to happen.
