When I was in NYC in February, I probably walked past the General Post Office and Moynihan Station twenty times - always note-to-self-ing that I absolutely needed to shoot in front of its beautifully columned, Met-esque staired brilliance. Obviously I never got around to it. But this time, after the Theysken's Theory show in the same building around the corner, Xiaohan sweetly snapped a couple for me. If I had it my way, I'd living in this building and shooting every single one of my posts on the steps from different angles.
But onto more important things: one of the highlights of my brief Big Apple jaunt was meeting and wearing the lovely Patricia Chang, whose design work and latest collection are so damn sweet that you don't even know what to do. Having said that, PC's command of tailoring, embellishment (little robots!) and colour-panelling is definitely as it should be - a refreshingly playful diversion from your classic New York blacks. A shirt dress needs a little sparkle and a little dirt, and then a bag that I have worn to absolute death. And that's how I survived the fifth day of fashion week.
In the mean time you all need to 1) check out more of Patricia's work 2) catch up on my Polaroid chronicles - Georgia May Jagger? Cara Delevingne? 3) make Bloglovin' happen.
And that is all.
