I'm going to start by apologising for my absence over the week just past - going back to Uni has certainly shaken up my schedule and my head, being a little under the weather. When the going gets tough, zooming out and reassessing priorities, direction and goals certainly amounts to Step 1 - perhaps it's the time of year. August never did agree with me!

You all seemed to like these ankle cuffs that I blogged on Monday, so here they are in a more experimental form - I'm excited to try this layered look with some thinner ankle straps too. The number of times I was stopped about my ankle happenings probably bodes well in that respect! What do you guys think?

But to get back to clean lines and fresh starts, this Unspoken shirt looks like it has it right - this is one of my favourite labels (rebranded from Tato & Memi), and I believe they'll be giving away this breezy piece of patterned Spring love on their Facebook page very soon, so make sure you Like and keep an eye out. A piece like this is well worth the dollars - so easily tucked into any bottoms without bulk, and long enough to wear over jeans and shorts without falling awkwardly... and, surprisingly, works with a solid liquid eyeliner flick despite the busy print.
