Bombs away

Boohoo Natasha Scarf Print Luxe Bomber Jacket and Jessie Hi-Top Velcro Sneakers – Strong & Dickerson Cropped Leather Sleeve Top – Factorie Skirt and Spray-on Jeans (similar HERE and HERE) – Karen Walker Super Duper Sunglasses – Herej Mini Spike Bag – Meadowlark Cat Ring

This jacket has been frequenting my daily walkabouts since I acquired its printed all-round winning about a month ago (thanks Colette). Everyone’s first impression is generally confused appreciation. In that order. How is it possible that a wonderfully luxurious scarf print is actually an effortlessly cool bomber jacket? This is how. But most importantly, it’s on sale right now for £12. No really. You’re welcome.

Until now, I’ve never really thought about how well flared skirts go with shorter jackets – even less, how flattering it can be. Given my recent love affairs with skirts over pants, cat rings, spikey bags and wedge sneakers, it’s hardly surprising that they all ended up in one place under the fabulous roof of this bomber. The other piece of note here is definitely the cropped top: hardly visible, yes, but if you look a little closer, you can see the leather sleeves peeking out from under those navy cuffs – another shopping score from when I was in Los Angeles. $70 Strong & Dickerson. Seriously.

I hope you’re all having a great start to the week – I, for one, am horrendously sick. At least I’ll have a super-immune system for flying in less than two weeks!
