I have, admittedly, been off the radar quite significantly over the past week - and for that, I am sincerely sorry. Or dare I say not really? I gave myself some much needed downtime, a little extra to get a little sick (this must happen once a year only) and a few days to journey out to remote South Australia on a tiny jet plane and zero phone reception. But more on that later.
Today, I took the day off meetings and running around town to have a late and oversized breakfast (much like my jeans), and traipse the Bondi-to-Bronte walk with Alex, followed by poached eggs and gelato (separately) and starfish-ing in the sun. I was so intrigued by how much this corner of Tamarama Beach looks like somewhere in Greece - this may or may not have been influenced by the knowledge that a good slice of my friends are currently partying up in Santorini, but I can pretend. Leave me alone. Or fly me over there.
"Oh you would", was Alex's reaction to excellent wedge on my sneakers. And why wouldn't I? I don't even notice that they're heels because they're sneakers, and at such a sensible height, neither does anybody else. They come in every colour in the world, and for £35 of extreme comfort, who could say no. I'm thinking about the camel ones for when Spring rolls around!
This top has been a favourite of mine now that Winter has hit in a reasonable way. The last time you saw it in this corner of the internets, I was into my mint pants in a big way. Since then, I've been switching between black leather skirts and pants to compliment the curved cut, but today, I was craving some space and freedom so boyfriend jeans were the inevitable way to go. The wool jersey does a good job of warmth as a sweater, but is just as breezy for pseudo-Summers like today - I'd be fast too if I were you, now that it's on sale for $150!
P.S. I have a secret - Alex shot these on his iPhone. Sneaky or what?
