Sonoma

People always ask me about the perfect little cafes in Sydney, and aside from the odd Tumblr response, I’ve never gotten around to sharing any of my favourites here – though you’ll all know from my Instagram that food plays a fairly significant part in my day.

Yesterday, I headed to Sonoma in Paddington for lunch with Ash, who kindly snapped these photos before sandwich time. I’d only ever had their epic muesli, so a smashed egg sandwich was a first for me (probably a glorified breakfast egg muffin, but I can work with that).

Do my feet rest on Sundays? No they don’t. Having said that, these boots certainly tick comfort factor, and like their loafer version, are probably the only leopard print I will ever wear on my feet. Combined with spikes, a men’s tee (from Co-op Surfection‘s new label) and khaki happy pants, this wonderfully weighty, metallic knit by the Watson x Watson ladies saved my get-up from angsty teendom – though I’m sure I could have been excused if that was where I ended up.

What are your favourite Sunday lunch spots? I need to fill the next four Sundays with lunch catch-ups before Uni hits again with a sledgehammer, so I want to know!
