Withholding this knitted lavender brilliance from the world would have been absolutely inconceivable – finding that link prompted a complete re-viewing of The Princess Bride and a ridiculous degree of crying (second favourite film of all time – after The Labyrinth). Back on track, I love Maille‘s take on a Spring knit – something I’ve never seen before. While the tank itself is a little heavier than you’d expect, it’s definitely a lot more breathable, without being an open knit where some awkward layering would have to happen.
Recently, I haven’t minded a higher neckline as long as it’s balanced by a crop, or wider arm openings like these, and as such a statement piece despite the relaxing shade, nothing but khaki, black and gold accents could have complimented this better in this weather.
How would you wear this baby? When Spring actually rolls around, I’m thinking a pair of white leather shorts and white leather cap would be perfect, capiche?
