A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of tripping on down to Sun Studios to see the Mulberry Autumn/Winter 2012 collection in the flesh. Just writing that sentence gets me excited. Mulberry has always been the epitome of craftsmanship in a bag, and it was incredible to see that so clearly with my nose an inch away from perfect stitching and embellishment. The new variations of the Alex, the beautiful Del Rey (how cute is that turtle hardware?) and embossed leather details were all prime examples of how an investment bag should be done - enduring leather, classic structure and a little pizazz.

What are your thoughts on investment bags? I've never been a huge bag person - during Fashion Week I legitimately cramme everything into pockets whenever possible. I certainly haven't thought about forking out for a bag comme ça, but these beauties have me tempted...
