Sweet Charity

You’d think that after exams, life would hold up and serve up chilled lemonade in Bali. Wrong: lemons are still very much on rotation, and it’s damn cold here in Sydney town.

A manic week later, the weekend’s in sight again. Thank goodness. You’d think that after exams, life would hold up and serve up chilled lemonade in Bali. Wrong: lemons are still very much on rotation, and it’s damn cold here in Sydney town.

Having said that, I’ve spent the day with Alex, and though not without my BlackBerry and Instagram, my brain has certainly calmed down a little bit. I thought I’d share few little things classed as essentials for this weekend while I get ready for Friday evening mischief with some close friends – read as dressing up to a “Used to be Cool” theme. This means scrunchies, double denim and reliving wonderful 90s dreams.

But for now:

  1. Christian Louboutin Sweet Charity Velvet Shoulder Bag: something I perhaps wouldn’t have looked at twice a month ago, but with my recent love of spikes, how could I resist when Harriet and Annabelle showed me the pretty Spring/Summer collection?
  2. My favourite MAC shades (DivaandLady Danger): such striking shades to pizazzle a simple get-up – I find that dark lipstick holds such a wonderful contrast against faded denim. This is not because I’m a 90s child.
  3. Perfect Herej Bag and my faithful BlackBerry: for $60, I honestly couldn’t be happier with this little bag – and at such a steal, I’m not afraid to knock it around either. Spikes are intimidating.

Happy weekend, boos! What are you all getting up to? Anything ridiculous?

*love*
