MBFWA: Orra, Orra

I’ve never been one for a standalone LBD, but with a bit of mirror pizazz, we’re talking.

Acne Marlow Blouson Bodice Dress from My Wardrobe – Boutique 9 Orra Mirrored Pumps from Shopbop – Beginning Boutique Necklace – MAC Cosmetics ‘Morange’ Lipstick

Thursday of MBFWA was spent getting excited for Nike She Runs the Night – which, I’m sure, you’d been following on Twitter – and if not, I’ll be telling you more about it soon. The morning began started with a beautiful breakfast with my favourite blogger ladies and the beauties from Bespoke and My Wardrobe, and immediately afterwards, we all headed down to the OPT for New Gen 2, where KAHLO stole the show – but more on that later.

I’ve worn the orange, long version of this Acne dress before, but there is something sharper and more refined in this shorter one with its A-line skirt and sneaky back. I’ve never been a standalone LBD person, but there’s so much going on with the raw edge silk, pockets, and extreme comfort of this beauty that I could nothing more suitable than my new repeat-offender heels that I bought from Shopbop a few weeks ago (I kind of want the silver ones too), and a similarly shiny piece of neck-adornment.

Do you guys have a go-to LBD? I haven’t until now.
