If you had told me a month ago that my tripod and I would be standing in my back lane at 7 o'clock in the morning wearing full-length green sequins and gladiator cuffs, with short hair and freezing my face off, I would have had a giggle and secretly wished it were true. Fortunately for me, that's exactly what went down this morning. I know I told all you Instagram, Twitter and Facebook lovers yesterday that today's post would involve jelly sandals, but how could I say no when the Bespoke girls asked if I'd like to borrow this mermaid of a sequined beauty to share with you guys?
I couldn't. That's how.
Fear not - jelly sandals are still to come, but today, let's stick with these Opening Ceremony beauties that I love more and more every time I look at them. The structure is so subtle, elegant and refined - how perfect is the little ladybeetle hardware! I love the rounded toe (especially now when pointy shoes are having such a freak out). And after all that pizazz, the gunmetal cuffs manage to complement the whole picture. Good work, Diva.
How green and sequiny would you go? I grew up wearing spangly lycra for dance and gymnastics so it doesn't phase me as much as your average lady friend.
