Lisa Ho SS12/13

Lisa Ho’s refreshingly young and upbeat SS12/13 show during MBFWA has me excited an inspired – time to shop for prints.

Nobody was more excited than my Mother when she heard that I was going to Lisa Ho‘s Fashion Week show – she’s been a dedicated fan since she moved to Australia in the 90s, and the only thing that came close to seeing the invite in our mail box was when I bought her a dress by the famed frock-master for her birthday last year.

So Wednesday morning’s show at the Art Gallery of NSW was my turn to be excited about Lisa Ho. The designer’s famous tailoring was still present to perfection, but in bolder prints with a very organic, but cohesive, translation throughout the collection – particularly that plant-print. I can’t wait to see it up close – there was a gown of the same print that I can’t stop thinking about!

What do we all think? REDKEN‘s hair and MAC‘s makeup were such perfect complements to Lisa’s attention to detail and colour palette – I’m also wishing I could pull off pink dip-dye hair.
