Today’s big shift over to Shine By Three’s new home on FELLT made me think of my first day in Los Angeles. A month of madness in New York City had been done and stepping out from the Beverly Garland onto an eerily empty Vineland Avenue was like a big breath out. Not having to wear thermals under my new favourite pants was a welcome change, and eye-pop lips had the rest of the day covered. In a few days, I’d re-pack, fly home, and take on the beasts Sydney silver-plattered at me.
Certainly – today was not without a significant quantity of healthy debate (#FELLT got a pretty good workout), but I do feel strangely calm and comfortable amidst it all. I’m buzzing with the exciting goings-on I’ll be sharing with you all over the next couple of days, weeks and months, more creative ideas, and more energy to keep doing what I’ve been doing over the past two years. All for you.
Clearly, this was the beginning of my embarrassing and/or awesome loafer tan. No, really. I legitimately can’t wear any form of pump or ballet flat because there’s an excellent line across both my feet.
P.S. Eulalee is having 20% off all her bags at the moment – I have two from when I met her at Hell’s Kitchen Markets in NYC and I can attest to the fact that you need one.
