The number of times I have bumped into readers while out running is fairly phenomenal, albeit slightly awkward because I definitely don’t look anywhere close to composed. Having said that, running has always been my way of working up some energy in the mornings, or burning off unwanted buzz to clear my head – and every time it surprises me how much more smoothly a packed schedule rolls with just a half hour up the hill and back.

Needless to say I was so excited to team up with Nike for She Runs the Night. I, for one, know how hard it is to make the time around Uni work and hours, so often end up excessive adrenaline, pounding the pavement after dark – even furious Dubstep blaring doesn’t quite cut it. Not having to worry about safety and just focusing on pushing your boundaries is such a plus in my frame of mind.

On top of that, there’s such a satisfying feeling in finishing something as big as 13km – especially with friends and family.

I’m so looking forward to running it with the girls in a few weeks and would love it if you’d join me!

P.S. How proud am I that I managed to self-timer this shot? My brother dared me to wear these to fashion week. With a leather baseball cap? No worries. Sports luxe is happening.

*love*

xx
