alt Shabby Apple Dress – MAC ‘Morange’ Lipstick The boatneck is a funny one. You’d think that there’s a lot of room to go wrong given the closedness on the neck compared to a lot of other necklines out there – I just remind myself to think like Hepburn and get on with my day. The velvet top half of this dress is impossibly soft and warm enough for that chilly afternoon that hit Sydney a few days ago. Since then, I’ve been standing in a corner craving Summer and twirling as fast as I can to make the full skirt spin out, in the hope that somebody will be filming me from above. I jest – I have marketing group assessments to do. Want some? P.S. this lip colour is my new favourite (Lady Danger was a tough one to knock off top dog!) – when you apply it heavily enough, you can still get the matte, opaque, vibrant orange-red, but if you just dab some on under gloss, it balances out the purple-pink that lips tend to turn in the cold, and makes you feel all smiley and Margaret Howell SS12 -esque. *love* xx
