Because that’s how they roll here. Before I arrived, I imagined the city as an enormous black and white photograph and, for the creatively inclined, it’s very much so. The buildings are all so intriguing and beautiful (even on a rainy day) – I’ve only been here a few days and Katie has had to drag me away from staring at too many buildings too many times. Boxy coats and pants are impossibly boring, so I’ve found that skirts are a pretty good way to interrupt that silhouette. Cable knit peeping out in between is pretty interesting too! This, the girls at Fred Flare HQ explained to me today, is why people stare when I’m walking down Avenue A. Not because I’m clearly a foreigner… no – not at all ;) altaltalt Moody photos aside, I really need to get around to showing you how incredible this Acne knit looks in colour – if there was ever a perfect shade of green, it’s that one. Remind me to snap it for you guys next time I wear it, capiche? P.S. I’m so glad you all enjoyed my jet-lagged video!! Thankfully I’m now well-rested and ready to take on the world – more videos very soon! I’ve been gathering footage over the last few days. So exciting. *love* xx
